Basicaly, i've been asked a number of times, on how it is I apply my make-up, and what kind of make-up I apply exactly. Here's a brief overview of what I used to get this look.
So, start off by rinsing your skin, and making sure you have clean relaxed pores after you wash your face. So toning and a good facial wash is essential!
Then after that...
- apply a tinted moisturiser/foundation. (Apply a thin layer during day time, and a thicker layer during night time.) I myself use "Ascot" foundation, It's very light and it's basicaly like a tinted moisturiser really.
Note: The key for this look is NOT to use ANY powder at all! The look needs to come across as being natural, not completley over the top!
- Then use a thick eye-shadow powder....( instead of using a pencil liner/ink liner to outline your eyes as (I presume) you normaly would.)
Note: Make sure that the color is Jet Blac and not grey. (Dark blue could work too.) (I use, MAC eye shadow.)
How to apply: Apply this over your upper eye lid, and once you reach the corner of your eye, draw a "tick." (This pulls the shape of your eye.) Then, apply a subtle amount on your lower lid. (Cause if you apply a heavy amount, you'll come across with a more gothic look.)
- Then, wrap up the look by applying a THICK mascara layer on your eyes. (Start off with the white, then coat it with black ontop. Make sure your mascara brush is not too old or else your eye-lashes will look really clamped up and stuck together!) (I personaly use Woolworths Mascara, and Maybelene which I find works very well!)
- Then, with a soft pastel pink matte color, apply some lipstick onto the apples of your lips! (These are the plump bits on your bottom lip.) (You could also use some pink-lip liner if you'd like.)
And voila!
The look is finished! Ta-da!!! It's stunning ey!? So subtle, but yet sooo sexyy.
PLUS REMEMBER , the key to pulling off this look, is to have CLEAR skin, and well shaped eye-brows! So make sure you tweeze ladies!!!

Thanks for the tips, but where can I get those products? And you know how sometimes foundation can irritate your skin...should I go see someone about the type I should be using or?
hey JOEYYY! u commented!! WOOP WOOP!!! well, I get my products from all over, e.g Clicks / dischem/ Woolworths. And base is irratating only if your allergic to it, or if your not taking care of ur skin properly.
Personaly I suggest washing ur face twice a day with a sensetive facial wash, and to coat ur face with some moisturiser, b4 applying the base/foundation. And whilst applying the base/foundation, i suggest using a sponge. ! Hope that helps Joey!!
Thank you Renee! I'll be getting started soon! Mwahhh
